RIEcuador
RIEcuador is a registered, tax-exempt, charitable organization established in Ecuador since 2014. This organization benefits children living in extreme poverty in the canton of Gualaceo, in the province of Azuay, Ecuador, by providing those children with opportunities and experiences otherwise unavailable to them. RIEcuador supplies indigent children with supplies necessary for them to attend school; andFunds and organizes field trips to educational sites and locations outside the children’s villages to expand their knowledge and world views.
WHAT WE DO:
RIEcuador’s Sponsor a Child program designates contributions from donors to individual children to ensure each has all the tools she or he needs to receive her or his education, and to enable us to bring new experiences to all the participants. We accomplish this by:
Purchasing and providing uniforms and supplies necessary for each child to attend and remain in school.
Funding and organizing annual field trips to an educational location outside of the children’s villages.
HOW IT WORKS:
Your financial contribution at any level below will cover the cost of the basic fees and supplies these children need to attend and stay in school and the cost of RIEcuador's annual field trip. Greater contributions will pay for shoes and school uniforms (an essential and often unattainable item for attendance in public school). All of these are costs their families simply cannot afford. The contribution levels are:
$125- Fees, Supplies, and Field Trip: Pays all the administrative fees associated with school attendance and for fulfillment of the entire, comprehensive government-issued list of required school supplies. This contribution also covers a child’s attendance at RIEcuador's annual field trip.
$150- Fees, Supplies, Field Trip and Shoes: Pays for a child’s fees, school supplies and attendance at the field trip, and adds the purchase of a pair of shoes- an basic essential many children lack.
$250- Fees, Supplies, Field Trip and Shoes, and School Uniform: Pays for all of the above, plus the cost of a school uniform (also government-required) or some other special item of clothing, such as a graduation suit.
